Katy is looking gorgeous in Vogue and admits that Russel informed her of their divorce via text? Say what????

I fell like we haven't heard anything from Katy in awhile, and apparently she has a LOT to say about Russel, John Mayer and life in general. Here's her Vogue interview via Celebitchy.com:

Is superstardom overwhelming? “Of course I get fazed. And when I am in between records, sometimes I doubt myself. I’ll be like: Did I just get lucky, or did I mass-manipulate the world into thinking that seven songs were worth a number-one position? And then I go back into the studio and I start writing, and the trueessential oil of who I am comes bubbling back up and reminds me that it’s always been inside of me, that nobody can take this away no matter what comment anyone makes. It’s going to be there because it’s what I was born with and it’s what I’ve worked on my whole life.”

More about her childhood: The atmosphere at home, she says, was “not fun.” She told me, “My parents did not spare the rod. I wasn’t going to great schools, because my parents didn’t believe in public education. They wanted the education to be influenced by their religion, so I was going to these halfway education-slash-Christian schools that were like pop-up shop–style education. My father is hilarious. That’s where I get my sense of humor from. Sooo, he’s very funny and a practical joker, but he’s more emotional and driven. I mean, my mother is very emotional as well, but my dad is more of the guts of the family. He was the main preacher, so he kind of had this little Pentecostal flair, but they are born-again. So there’s a little bit of my background.”

Russell Brand was a “magical man” at first: “He’s a very smart man, and I was in love with him when I married him. Let’s just say I haven’t heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011. I mean, I have to claim my own responsibility in things. I do admit that I was on the road a lot. Although I invited him time and time again, and I tried to come home as much as I possibly could. You saw that in the movie.” Katy Perry: Part of Me, a documentary released last year that has garnered $32 million worldwide to date, covers the period before, during, and after her time with Brand. “That wasn’t edited to leave footage out–there wasn’t any footage of him.”

 

On their 14 month marriage: “At first when I met him he wanted an equal, and I think a lot of times strong men do want an equal, but then they get that equal and they’re like, I can’t handle the equalness. He didn’t like the atmosphere of me being the boss on tour. So that was really hurtful, and it was very controlling, which was upsetting. I felt a lot of responsibility for it ending, but then I found out the real truth, which I can’t necessarily disclose because I keep it locked in my safe for a rainy day. I let go and I was like: This isn’t because of me; this is beyond me. So I have moved on from that.”

Is her thing with John Mayer ongoing or over? “Over.” Oh, my. I had made the tabloid reader’s assumption that she was stepping out with Mayer as a classic “revenge” relationship, to show ol’ Rusty Brand what he was missing–but she cuts in: “No, not at all. No, I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him.” With John Mayer? That wasn’t what I expected to hear at all. “All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.”

On her future love life: “I hope I don’t have to live as a widow.” Whaaat? “An emotional widow. No, I don’t believe that. But I think that I can just right now focus on me and strengthening myself and my emotional support system. I’m not in a relationship, I’m just on my own–I am myself in my own bed. I have to be happy being alone, and I am happy.” She tries so hard, Katy Perry. It’s what she does. “I believe that I will be loved again, in the right way.” Bright-eyed, she looks up. “I know I’m worth it.”

STILL no name for baby Kimye??

Well, according to reports it's because they can't agree on a name they both like!! Allegedly, Kanye is a fan of the name North? Yes, North West. That's gotta be a joke, right?? And, Kim, according to sources is liking the Kai Georgia Donda West. I guess they both agree that Kanye's mother's name, Donda, should be somewhere in the baby's name, which I think is sweet. Anyways, supposedly, an announcement is eminent!! The anticipation is killing me!! :) Congrats to the happy family!!

Wow.

You can definitely see the resemblance between Paris Jackson and Debbie Rowe! Paris has been in the news recently due to her suicide attempt. I haven't really talked about it much because its serious stuff and just really really sad:( Gossip websites all have their opinions about what happened and why....some say she had been fighting with her brother, some say she had wanted to attend a Marilyn Manson concert, and wasn't allowed? And, some say she might have been bullied. Whatever the reason, suicide is NEVER the answer. It's permanent. Whatever awful thing someone is going through will pass....and how ever bad the thing is, it's not the end of the world, but ending your life, IS the end. I hope she is doing ok and getting the help she needs and knows that she is very loved. It breaks my heart to see so many teen suicides in the news...and I just wish they would have tried to talk to someone rather than taking such drastic measures. Life isn't always fun....it can be really hard sometimes, but you only have ONE LIFE!! Don't ever waste it.

Well, she's pretty much been alone through all of her pregnancy, and now it seems like she'll be giving birth alone too?? Tabloids are reporting that Kanye won't be in the delivery room with her "because he's squeamish and doesn't want to be around blood"? Apparently, his selfishness knows no bounds? I can't say I'm surprised. And, I'm trying (kinda) to see his side of things....like maybe she's having a C-section and he's a fainter? But still, you want to be there to support the woman you love? Right? And, birth is kinda a big deal!! I doubt if Jay-Z would pull a stunt like this! Kanye needs to quit making it about him and start focusing on his FAMILY!!! Big jerk.

Annnnnd, newly engaged!! Not sure if it was a surprise or not, but she's GLOWING!! And, I'm very happy for her. She's had a lot of years of man drama, so it's nice to see her happy! Congrats, girlie:)

Welp, I think we all saw this coming.....

Miguel is about to get sued!!! The day after the Billboard Awards the internet went crazy with pics of his EPIC CROTCH CRUSH! He was attempting to jump over his fans to get the the other part of the stage, but failed miserably and ended up ramming some poor girls head into the stage!! She has since lawyered up after suffering pain and a lot of embarrasment. The lawyer is now claiming she may have brain damage? I sure hope not!! When something like this happens some people may see it as a big payday....and I'm not gonna lie, I think this girl does deserve something!! It looked like it hurt and he didn't even stop to see if she was ok. I truly hope she doesn't suffer any permanent damage and that he ends up doing the right thing!!

Katy and John are giving it a try, again. :(

No Katy, just no. Allegedly they are keeping it casual this time around, but if it didn't work the past two times, why do they think it'll work this time?? Sometimes you just have to know when to move on. She can do soooo much better!!

Party at the Bieb's house!!

Behold: The Bieb's party palace!! Apparently, some CRAZY stuff goes on there and he wants guests to keep their mouths CLOSED about it!! If not, he will totally sue you for 5 MILLION dollars. He makes all guests sign a waiver and the contract is pretty intense....like, you could DIE at one of his parties? DANG! TMZ has all the details about the Bieb's contract....sign if you dare!!!

"The document makes it clear ... anyone who violates the terms of the waiver will automatically be on the hook for $5 million in damages.

But wait ... there's more.  If you dare tweet about the party -- $5 mil.  If you blog -- $5 mil.  If you Instagram -- $5 mil.  

And God knows what goes on inside, but the form warns there might be activities which are "potentially hazardous and you should not participate unless you are medically able and properly trained."

And there's more ... The risks include "minor injuries to catastrophic injuries, including death."

R-Patz is outta there!!

He packed up his stuff in his sweet ride and moved out of the house he had been living in with Kristen Stewart. Wow. I figured they'd be on again, off again for awhile....but I guess this break up is gonna stick? The rumor on a few gossip blogs is that Katy Perry had a lil something to do with the split?? I don't know if she was just talking him through it, or if there is a romantic connection? But, dang Katy....why you gotta be messing with MY man??? :)

This story makes my heart happy!!!!

Do you see the lil old lady on Zach G's arm at the Hangover III movie premiere....well, that's not his granny!! It's a homeless (she used to be) woman named Mimi and 2 years ago he met her, found out that she didn't have a place to live and immediately got her off the streets. He got her her own 1 bedroom apartment (shown below) and pays her rent. AND...he takes her to cool things like movie premieres where she gets to walk the red carpet and stuff. Soooo sweet!! :)
