Hey guys! My name is Heather and I work here at HOT 100.5 as a Promotions Coordinator. A what? Basically I make things happen… lol rightttt. No, actually what I do is pretty much made up of promoting the station any and everywhere. When you hear “We’re broadcasting live from blah, blah blah” on the radio I’m the one who is there giving out the prizes and setting everything up. I go to concerts, festivals and events basically just promoting the hell out of HOT 100.5. Yes, it is a hard job but someone has to do it
I’m going to be on here every week letting you know about things going on at the station, events that are coming up, concerts, life, pretty much anything I feel like and hey, I’d like you to do the same…so let’s get to know one another. Here are a few random things about myself (not necessarily interesting or fun lol) so you can get to know me and what I’m all about…
I want to go skydiving sometime in the next year… and I’d really love to learn how to surf but I’m petrified of water that I can’t see through because I’m afraid a shark is going to eat me. Maybe I could try one of those things on the cruise ships like you see in the commercials haha….
If I won the lottery the first thing I would do would be to buy 5 houses on the beach right next to each other and move all of my family into them. My family means everything to me and we are all very close so I think it would be nice to all be next to each other... but still have our distance lol.
I try to stay positive about everything in life… everything happens for a reason so what’s the point of regretting? It’s a waste of time. Move on.
I would love to live in Australia for a couple years just to do it. I traveled through the continent for a month and it was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited.
History just amazes me… you never know where you’re going if you don’t known where you’ve been. Get some culture in your life, it can really make a difference in the way you see things. Write that down.
Despite how I may appear I am super easy to please, doesn’t take much to make me happy. Fix me some Mac n’ Cheese and I’ll be your best friend.
I am absolutely obsessed with the Twilight series (Robert Pattison if you are reading this I want to have your babies… Zac Efron that goes for you too... well just incase Paul Walker, Channing Tatum, Justin Timberlake and Orlando Bloom, all of them can go ahead and consider themselves in that category as well) and I think I might go ahead and read all the books over again because I was rushing through them so fast the first time to get the end.
I think Doris Day and Audrey Hepburn are the epitome of what classy is. And I had to ask 6 different co-workers to get the correct spelling of epitome.
I ask A LOT of questions so I truly believe that no question is stupid… things can be thought through a little bit more before you ask the question but that doesn’t mean it’s a stupid question.
I know a lot of random information about nothing... I rock at Scene It and Cranium… you basically don’t want to go up against this.
I went canyoning in Switzerland (which is white water rafting without the boat) and it was one of the most exhilarating experiences I’ve ever had. I only wish I had enough money to do the bungee jumping off a bridge while I was there. Backpacked for 5 weeks in Europe = low budget.
I could eat sushi everyday but ever since I saw a tape worm show on the Discovery Channel I’ve been afraid every time I eat it lol…. But it still doesn’t stop me.
