If you weren’t at the No Doubt concert last night at the amphitheater then you missed out! It was a blast! I was fortunate enough to get to go backstage and meet them before the show (um yes I was freaking out)! They were sooo nice! And Gwen, OMG, absolutely gorgeous and so tinyyy! Everyone in the band was very friendly and seemed very appreciative of the fans that had come out to see them. I wanted to ask if her cute little kids were there but I didn’t want to seem like a stalker…
Gwen Stefani’s style is so original and fashion forward, I wish I could afford the L.A.M.B. line that she designs for. That’s one thing that I just don’t get about celebrity clothing lines… why do you make your brands so expensive? It’s your fans that are going to be wearing your designs, not other celebrities?! You don’t see Rihanna walking onto the carpet and saying “Yes, I’m wearing a piece by Lauren Conrad tonight” (the Hills star who has her own expensive fashion line). So wouldn’t it make sense to make your clothes affordable to the people who really want to wear them? Take some notes from Sarah Jessica Parker and Vera Wang… they’ve both created affordable lines while maintaining the hottest fashion trends for the typical consumer. Kudos to you, my credit card thanks you.
I’ve still got “I’m Just a Girl” stuck in my head, but no complaints here! Gwen please come back soon, I’ll baby sit your kids… or your husband, whichever! Can’t wait to see how The Fray featuring Jack’s Mannequin concert is this Sunday!
