Obama called Kanye a jackass? During an interview with CNBC, Terry Moran tweeted that, “Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a ‘jackass’ for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential.” Of course it was taken down almost immediately and now they are looking into regulating reporters tweeting during White House reports. What a shame! It’d be refreshing to see reporters’ unedited thoughts for once!
It’s interesting that Kanye is in the spotlight for crashing the stage when he’s not the only one who did it! Anyone notice during Jay-Z and Alicia Key’s performance that Lil Mama suddenly appears out of nowhere and starts dancing… she was not part of the performance. She’s probably thanking her lucky stars that all the attention is on Kanye right now! Her manager released a statement saying, “I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys. I admire them and look up to them as role models. 'Empire State of Mind' had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up onstage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY."
In keeping with the hot topic of Kanye… he was on the Series Premiere of the Jay Leno Show last night. He was supposed to be only performing with Rihanna but because of the obvious uproar over Sunday evening he was asked to do an interview with Jay. Check out the video below… do you think he was actually being sincere (a first for him) or just apologizing because that’s what his managers are probably telling him to do. Maybe we’ll get a Taylor Swift/Kayne West collaboration out of this chaos hahaha!
Let’s talk VMA fashion…. Did anyone else notice the craziness that Lady Gaga was wearing?? There’s always someone who is oddly dressed at MTV events and she gets the trophy for that night! Here are a few of her looks from the evening…

TWILIGHT MANIA continued at the VMAs as they “premiered” for a second time an extended trailer of New Moon. I can’t say that I was disappointed! Anytime I get to look at Taylor Lautner or Robert Pattinson it’s a happy day!
