Is this my real life?! Walking off the plane in Athens was one of those surreal moments in life! Hello Acropolis! I just spent the last 10 days in Greece traveling throughout the country. I’ve never been so happy to be back at work…. YEAH RIGHT! Words can not express the craziness of the past week of my life. We went to Athens, Mykonos (official party capital of Greece), Ios (rival party capital to Mykonos) and Santorini (the most beautiful island EVER)!
All of our hostels were right on the beach with mini tiki huts for us to lie under. Make sure you watch the Ouzo, it really creeps up on you! If we weren’t sunbathing under the Grecian sun then we were quading over the islands catching all the sights, snorkeling throughout the reefs or enjoying the local cuisine! Can I get a gyro in my life right about now?! Oh, and the Grecians know how to throw a party! Wait, have I mentioned the nude beaches yet? Uh… not always a good thing!
Met a bunch of awesome Aussie’s… not really sure if there are even any left in Australia because they all seemed to be in Greece! Not a problem for me though, there’s nothing hotter then an Australian accent! G’day mate!
I’d give out more details but you know how it goes… what happens in Greece, stays in Greece!
