Some Ariana Grande fans fell from cloud nine after realizing her Starbucks drink was not vegan-friendly.
The Cloud Macchiato is made with espresso and vanilla-flavored syrup, and topped with foam and a drizzle of caramel. Well the “cloud powder” contains egg white powder and the caramel drizzle also contains milk products. So totally not vegan which many fans believed Ariana to be
I’ve eaten organically since I was little and always kept meat minimal but today marks my first day as a 100% Vegan!!!! Joyous day 🐣🐄💓🐟🐓💕☀️

And in an interview with the Mirror in 2014 she said, “I love animals more than I love most people, not kidding. But I am a firm believer in eating a full plant-based, whole food diet that can expand your life length and make you an all-round happier person.”
When the new drink launched she encouraged fans to try the soy version
That’s enough for some fans.
why did ariana make a drink that cannot be made vegan when she is vegan herself wtf i wanted one pic.twitter.com/UZv7MfO8pE

Ariana says she’s vegan herself. THAT’S the issue with her consuming and promoting a non-vegan drink. A LOT of people came to my store today thinking it was vegan.

As a barista AT Starbucks, I think it’s really weird that Ariana Grande is the ambassador for the new drink. You literally cannot make it vegan, the key ingredient in cloud powder is egg whites to make it more like meringue 🤷♂️

But like one fan pointed out maybe things have changed for Ari?
Why are people getting mad at Ariana for having her name behind a not vegan Starbucks drink…..she hasn’t said she’s vegan in years she might not even be anymore lol. Also who cares she can’t control the world.
