YouTuber Paige Ginn announced the gender of her impending (and possibly fictitious) infant on Tuesday… by farting.

The reactions were…mixed.
One of her followers replied, “I can’t decide if this is genius or sick or both,” while another simply asked, “Why?” Why indeed.
Since posting the video to Instagram, it’s racked up over 600,000 likes and has been shared countless times on Facebook and YouTube. “All future gender reveals are cancelled,” Paige tweeted.
After the clip went viral, she also shared a video on YouTube explaining why she decided to do it (answer: she knew it would go viral).
