Liam Payne Announced Virtual Concert Series, ‘The LP Show’

Liam Payne is comin’ back! The singer took to Twitter to announce a new livestream concert series named after himself, called “The LP Show,” and it’s happening soon:

Liam’s show follows a trend of artists going live to perform on apps like BeApp, Instagram Live, or even just recording a performance on Zoom. This concert will be on Veeps, which describes itself as an app where artists can “ticket their livestreams,” and make money off virtual performances. Their site shows upcoming appearances by names like Brandi Carlile and Alien Ant Farm, but Liam will definitely be the biggest celebrity on their roster!

What makes Veeps special is that those virtual concerts take place in real-world venues, like City Winery Chicago or the legendary Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood. Liam says he’s working with venues that have been hit hard by COVID-19, in the hopes of creating work for unemployed sound people and crew members.

Tickets to his stream start at $10 and reflect a “pay as much as you want” philosophy. Will you be attending Liam’s bold new show? Let us know on the Twitterverse! @HOThits1005 and @WatersOnAir.
