Two more Taylor Swift songs made their streaming debut on Thursday (January 7th).
“Right Where You Left Me” and “It’s Time To Go” were previously only available on the deluxe edition of her latest album, evermore.
“It’s Time To Go” has fans speculating on who is the inspiration for the lyrics.
While some are speculating that it is about Swift’s feud with Scooter Braun and Big Machine pointing out these lyrics as proof: “Fifteen years, fifteen million tears / Begging ’til my knees bled / I gave it my all, he gave me nothing at all / Then wondered why I left / Now he sits on his throne in his palace of bones / Praying to his greed / He’s got my past frozen behind glass / But I’ve got me.”
Fans also think it could be about her ex-friend Karlie Kloss and her decision to work with Scooter Braun citing these lyrics: “When the words of a sister, come back in whispers, that prove she was not, in fact, what she seemed,” Taylor sings. “Not a twin from your dreams, she’s a crook who was caught.”
