Top o’ the morning to ya, laddie! Today’s a celebration of Irish people, culture, history, music, and more – but we’re mostly focused on the music, naturally.
Some of our favorite Irish musicians have big plans today, and lots of well-wishes for their fellow citizens of the Emerald Isles.
Niall Horan: The handsome fella from Mullingar, Ireland had some quick words to mark the holiday:
Happy Paddy’s day ☘️ to my fellow Irish and anyone who celebrates our great country today. 🇮🇪☘️

But he’s not just limited to words: Niall will be performing a virtual concert with the legendary Irish brewing company, Guinness! Look at the promotional posters, they’re dreamy:

Dermot Kennedy: Speaking of virtual shows, this golden-voiced Irishman is holding one today, too. He’ll be alongside U2, who are pretty famous in their own right. If you don’t know ’em, ask your dad.
Really honoured to have been invited to support @U2 this Wednesday 17 March on the St Patricks Day special of their Virtual Road series on @youtubemusic. Catch my performance as part of the pre-show at 7:30pm GMT 😊 X https://t.co/vKlSEnWsX5 pic.twitter.com/CzzXF3l4rL

Hozier: The “Take Me to Church” vocalist is missing concerts just like the rest of us, and he took a second to wish us all well, one year after his last few shows.
Hard to believe this wasn’t much more than a year ago. We’ll get back there again, meanwhile stay safe & be good to one another. Thank you for the birthday messages, I’m so grateful to have your support & to be able to do what I do. Wishing you all a sweet St. Patrick’s Day ☘️ pic.twitter.com/OpUzH0yEAv
