May is Better Sleep Month! Have you been getting those Z’s? That might depend on where you live.
New research from RetailMeNot and LatticePublishing.com finds that the DMV does a pretty good job of resting up at the end of a long day – with a few exceptions. Baltimore, for example, is one of the most sleep-deprived big cities in America! A full 44% of adults in the Crab Cake Capital of the World report that they don’t quite get 7 hours a night.
A little closer to home, Hampton, VA puts out a similar performance in bed: 41.5% of adults fall short of 7 hours, and in Newport News, that percentage is 43%.
So what about your nighttime routine? Are you clocking out for 8 hours, or more like 5 and a half on a good day? Don’t forget that an early bedtime can leave you feeling happier, healthier, and more productive throughout the day!
