5SOS Member Luke Hemmings Announces Solo Album, Out This Summer

We’ve missed the guys from 5 Seconds of Summer. Ever since “Youngblood” and “Easier,” they’ve been relatively quiet on the charts… but that’s just because they’ve been busy!

Luke Hemmings, the lead vocalist from the group, just announced that he’s dropping his very first solo album. It’ll be called When Facing the Things We Turn Away From and it releases to the world on August 13th!

Luke said the record will be heavily influenced by the pandemic, adding that his new music “grew out of a year of enforced stillness.” But it won’t be all doom and gloom: “Lyrically and sonically, this album has allowed me to decipher the last 10 years of my life,” Luke added.
