Norfolk Named a Top-10 City for Dog Parks… See Where VA Beach, Chesapeake Ranked!

WatersOnAir

It’s a dog’s life in Norfolk, VA – or at least that’s what this new research tells us! The Mermaid City was just named America’s 7th-best city for pooch parks, and that’s something that Fido can get excited about.

Using the data to break down the results a little further, it seems like Norfolk’s ranking is mostly based on access to dog parks (rated 4th overall in that category) rather than the quality of each one (55th nationwide).

If you and your four-legged friend want to confirm the study’s findings together, check out this list of the Top 10 Dog Parks in Norfolk, as well as the rules for enjoying them.

So, where did the rest of the (757) come in? Chesapeake scored well, at 26th in the country, and VA Beach wasn’t too far behind at 45th.

What’s YOUR favorite dog park in Hampton Roads? Me and your pupper agree: it’s time for a trip back there!
