You don’t know his name, but you know the songs he’s worked on! Louis Bell is arguably one of the best producers in pop music right now, having lent his behind-the-scenes talent to names like Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Halsey, Taylor Swift, and more. He’s the creative mind whose work on the computer is responsible for ensuring hits like Bieber’s “Peaches” and Camila Cabello’s “Havana” sound ~just right~.
And he’s willing to spill his secrets in a new course, offered by Monthly.
I’ve written about Monthly before – they’ve carried lessons in songwriting from Charlie Puth, that anyone could learn from. This class, though, is a little more advanced. Listed as an “intermediate-advanced” course by the site, they say that only people who have previously written or produced music should enroll.
The official webpage says, “During this 30-day class, learn the full set of songwriting and production skills Louis Bell uses to create chart-toppers. This class meets you where you are and pushes your skills to the next level.”
If you’re interested in learning more about the classes, check it out here. And if you produce any Billboard-topping bangers, I call dibs on your first radio interview.
