A DoorDash customer recently found himself trapped inside his home after the delivery driver left the full cup of coffee he ordered just inches from his door.
In the viral video shared on TikTok, Alex Bradshaw captioned the video, “Thanks for the coffee Doordash.”
The video, which has been viewed more than 2.7 million times, received a lot of comments with unhelpful advice according to Bradshaw. He commented on the clip, “Thank you all for the continued suggestion of using my nonexistent back door to retrieve the coffee I ordered almost a month ago. Greatly appreciated.”
@slopshawIt’s ok, I do some DoorDash driving from time to time, I can criticize #doordash #coffee #doordash
In a series of follow-up videos, he revealed that the same situation occurred again on his next delivery so he tried out a few of the previous suggestions.
@slopshawReply to @skythewo1f this time I had my friend place it there to try out what everyone’s suggested by reaching through the crack. ##doordash ##coffee
Spoiler alert: it doesn’t work.
Bradshaw responded to criticism about why he ordered a cup of coffee for delivery in the first place. “Because it’s coming up a lot, I tipped $3.50 on an $11 order for an iced coffee and bagel. I ran out of coffee and was busy working my remote full-time job + my own business I have been getting off the ground for the last couple of months,” he shared.
@slopshawReply to @katosollo you guys are messing with me now ##doordash ##coffee
What would you do?
