Portsmouth’s Mercy Chefs are Pitching in With Kentucky Tornado Relief!
The (757) doesn’t shy away from helping our neighbors in need. When disaster struck nearby in Kentucky, one of the first volunteer groups on-scene to support the relief effort was Portsmouth, VA-based Mercy Chefs!
Founded in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Mercy Chefs founder & CEO Gary LeBlanc believed that there was a better way to feed disaster victims, families, and first responders. That’s how the non-profit organization was born, and their mission continues now in Kentucky.
