Doja Cat Says She’s Quitting Music in a Series of Tweets

Doja Cat has had enough.

The singer told fans that she “f—–g quits” in a series of tweets Thursday night.

Doja was scheduled to perform at the Asunciónico Festival in Paraguay — but it ended up being canceled because of flooding due to a major storm. Fans took to Twitter to complain that the rapper didn’t interact with fans outside her hotel while she was in Paraguay or post about the canceled festival online.

In a now deleted tweet, she denied that fans were waiting.

Doja did apologize for not giving the crowd at Lollapalooza in Brazil a “good enough show,” a few days after the Paraguay cancelled performance.

It wasn’t enough though for some fans.

Seemingly fed up with the backlash, Doja Cat changed her Twitter handle to “i quit” and told fans, “i don’t give a f–_ anymore i f—–g quit i can’t wait to f—–g disappear and i don’t need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and i’m a f—–g fool for ever thinking i was made for this this is a f—-g nightmare unfollow me.

A spokesperson for the singer declined to comment.
