Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed that her third album is on the way and announced the 2024 Hot Girl Summer Tour.
She revealed the big news while speaking to “Good Morning America” earlier in the week.
The hip-hop superstar has already released two singles from the upcoming untitled record – “Cobra” and “Hiss.”
“Oh, we’re having the tour this year. The Hot Girl Summer Tour is gonna be 2024 summer time,” she told “GMA.” “I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside during my early days during the summer since 2019. So this is gonna be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer. I do want to give the Hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience.”
The tour is named after her 2019 song “Hot Girl Summer,” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. Megan has not yet announced the schedule and venues for the tour.
Megan said “music just seemed so negative” to her for the past couple of years after Tory Lanez shot her in the foot.
After the trial, the Canadian rapper was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August.
